PAWS - COMPETITIONS & SECOND HAND UNIFORM SALE (NEWS 9/5/2024)

Just a reminder of 2 of our PAWs competitions!

Summer Fair Poster Competition:

Our summer fair poster competition closes on Tuesday 21st May, so please get your entries to the school office before the closing date to be in with a chance of winning a free turn on all of the PAWS stalls at the summer fair.

Pumpkin Growing:

October might seem a long way off, but pumpkin seeds are best planted in May!

We are still selling seeds, they are £1 and are available from the school office, preschool and Early Years Classroom.  We will also have some available to sell at the pre-loved uniform sale tomorrow, Friday 10 May at 3.15pm in the link corridor.

PAWS - UPCOMING EVENTS (NEWS 3/5/2024)

We would like to give a quick update on some the upcoming events PAWS are working on:

Sponsored Event:

Thank you to everyone who has taken part in the sponsored event. A reminder that payment is due in today please. This can be paid in cash or into the PAWS bank account (details at the bottom of this email). 

Summer Fair:

PAWS are busy preparing for the summer fair which will be on Saturday 22nd June 11am to 2pm. If anyone can spare an hour or two on the day to either help set up, look after a stall or tidy up please let us know!

We are running a poster competition, asking children to make a poster to promote our fair. A winner will be selected from each year group to voucher giving them a free turn on every PAWS stall!

Please hand your posters into reception by Tuesday 21st May at 3pm. 

Pumpkin Growing Competition:

PAWS are preparing for a spooky Halloween fundraiser and would like to invite you to take part in a pumpkin growing competition.
 
Its costs £1 to enter which will include your seeds. These will be available from reception or outside the early classroom from Tuesday 7th May after school. We have also been donated some plastic plant pots so please help yourself to one.
  
Simply plant your seeds and make sure you take photos of your seeds journey from seed to pumpkin- ensuring your PAWs ‘PAW’ is in the photo! We would love to see your photos so please share with us at PAWScommittee@gmail.com or via our Facebook page.
Some step by step instructions on growing your seeds can be seen attached to this email.
 
All the pumpkins will be judged in October. Year 6 are more than welcome to take part and bring their pumpkins in for judging!

Second Hand Uniform Sale:

PAWS will be holding another second hand uniform sale on Friday 10th May at 3.15pm in the link corridor.

If you have any good condition uniform you would like donate we would be very grateful!
